2. Video Upload and Content Ownership Requirements
When uploading videos to our platform, you must comply with the following strict requirements:

- Personal Content Only: You may only upload videos that you personally recorded or for which you have obtained proper licensing rights.
- No Third-Party Content: You may not upload professional tournament footage, broadcasts, or any content created by others without explicit permission.
- Rights and Licenses: By uploading content, you grant BadmintonLab a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze your uploaded videos solely for the purpose of providing our analytics services.
- Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe violates these ownership requirements without prior notice.
- Content Liability: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all uploaded content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
3. User Content and Submissions
You understand that by uploading videos, match data, or other content to our platform ("User Submissions"), you are granting us certain rights:
- Limited License: You grant BadmintonLab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze your User Submissions solely to provide our video analysis services.
- No Ownership Transfer: You retain ownership of your original content. We do not claim ownership of your videos or match data.
- Analysis Rights: We may create derivative analytical data (statistics, insights, reports) from your content, which we may use to improve our services.
- Privacy Controls: Your content remains private to you and your team members unless you explicitly choose to share it.
- Content Standards: All User Submissions must comply with our community standards and legal requirements.
4. Prohibited Content and Activities
You agree not to upload, share, or use our Service for:
- Infringing Content: Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrighted tournament footage, broadcasts, or professional match recordings
- Unauthorized Recordings: Videos obtained without proper consent from all participants visible in the recording
- Non-Personal Content: Any content that you did not personally create or for which you do not have explicit rights
- Commercial Content: Professional sports broadcasts, tournament footage, or any commercially licensed content without proper authorization
- Illegal Content: Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Harmful Content: Videos that contain inappropriate, offensive, threatening, or harmful material
- Privacy Violations: Content that violates the privacy rights of individuals who did not consent to being recorded
5. Content Monitoring and Enforcement
To protect intellectual property rights and ensure compliance:
- Automated Detection: We may use automated systems to detect potentially infringing or unauthorized content
- Manual Review: Our team reserves the right to review any uploaded content for compliance with these Terms
- Immediate Removal: We may remove content immediately upon discovery of violations, without prior notice
- Account Suspension: Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent account suspension
- Reporting System: Users can report potentially infringing content for our review
4. Copyright Infringement and Legal Compliance

We do not guarantee that our video analysis, statistics, or performance insights are accurate or complete. These are provided for informational purposes only.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING EU CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS:
- Content Liability: BadmintonLab is not liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of uploaded content or copyright infringement by users
- User Responsibility: Users bear full responsibility for ensuring their content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights
- Service Limitations: We disclaim all warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of our analytics and video processing, except where prohibited by law
- Aggregate Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the greater of $200 or the amount you paid for our services in the preceding 12 months
- EU Consumer Rights: For EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights or limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation
- No Consequential Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, except where prohibited by mandatory law
